W.D. Construction was formed in January 1989 by founder William Dean Covert and his son Larry. William had previously been employed as a general superintendent with over 25 years construction experience, and Larry as a journeyman carpenter and project manager with over 10 years experience. Together, they embarked on starting their general contracting business called W.D. Construction. After 11 successful years as a general contractor, William turned the company over to his son Larry. Larry, along with his wife Tracy, and son Chris, operate the only true handcrafted log home general contracting business in the state of Oklahoma. Over the past 34 years, our reputation as a general contracting business has allowed our company to grow while others have failed.
